Join us for Spirit Food, a five course Indigenous Twist food journey that takes you into the unique culinary experience of Spirit Food. Tantalise your taste buds with a wide range of seasonal native ingredients like pepperberry, native ginger, smoked gum leaf, bush mint, lilli pilli, davidson plum and bush tomato as well as proteins like emu, kangaroo, local mussels and baby snapper. Throughout the evening Wandiwandian, Walbunja and Djirringanj descendant Dwayne Bannon-Harrison provides cultural interpretation of each course as well as highlighting the native ingredients.
Mirritya Mundya acknowledges and pays respect to the Gumea & Wadi Wadi -Dharawal People and the lands we respectfully will host this event on.

Additional beverages - Silos Bar
This will be table service and the bar will be open throughout the night. You will be indulged with the menu recommended parings from Silos Estate hosts Raj and Sophie. Bar bills can be paid and split at the end of the night.

Mirritya Mundya means ‘Hungry Blackfish’ in the Ngarrigu language group of South Eastern Australia. Together in partnership we have created our ‘Indigenous Twist’ culinary products and experiences, including event catering, our food truck and bespoke dining experiences.
We use native ingredients and infuse our meals with other cuisine. This has been a great journey for us, the connection with people in great spaces and providing quality experiences is something we get a real buzz off.
Our love for food it connects people in a genuine way and we hope that we can share some of our cuisine and culture with you.

Spirit Food - Sample Menu
Our menu changes regularly based on seasonal ingredients, including a Starter, second third and fourth couse and dessert.
Starter
Your evening starts with a grazing board showcasing native & fresh local produce. Award winning local oysters pared with a complimentary Silos wine or native infused beverage of choice awaits.
Second, Third and Fourth Course
We take you on a journey of discovery across 3 savory courses. Dishes could include:
· Native Ginger white wine Jervis Bay Mussels with house baked focaccia.
· Ancient protein of country Emu Arancini with smoked gum leaf cheesy sauce.
· Smoked Baby Snapper with Bush Tomato Cauliflower & Steamed Greens. Alternative
· Davidson Plum Slow Cooked Brisket two ways served with strawberry gum mac.
· Reverse seared Kangaroo fillet in burnt lilli pilli butter with a bush mint mash.
Vegetarian Options could include:
· Mushroom Arancini with smoked gum leaf cheesy sauce.
· Spiced Macadamia twice cooked Sweet Potato served with strawberry gum mac.
· Pepperberry Mushroom Schnitzel with Bush Tomato Cauliflower & Steamed Greens. Alternative
Dessert
We conclude the night with of course something sweet, a pavlova like no other a native plum splat or alternatively a brûlée with wattleseed.

Dietary requirements accepted and must be provided prior to event.Menu is based on seasonal produce available and is subject to change on the night.
This is a culturally safe space and event we ask all guests to be mindful of protocols and sensitivities of all First Nations people
Cancellations, Date Changes & Refunds
- No refunds for no shows
- If a guest cancels inside 30 days prior to booking/order date, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged
- If a guest cancels a booking/order within 10 days of booking/order date a 100% cancellation fee will apply
- A request to reschedule to an alternative date can be made in writing no less than 48 hours prior to the booking/order commencement time. Approval of a date change is subject to availability
